Down below the sustain pedal and the TC Helicon voicelive.Microphone stand to the left of the keys.I'm golden. On the desk is a 27" Imac, a usb small mixer for my iphone videos and my Xr18.I have Behringer Truth monitors and they could go on there not torturing the neighbors or wife I record what I do in headphones.Good enough for my low standards. I will definitely be purchasing another set soon.I have a ton of room but I have my recording set up in a very tight n tidy spot.Being a keyboard player I have an 88 keyboard so I just set my keyboard on a stand and then have a 60 x 30 table behind it just high enough that the very back of the keyboard with the wires n all can't be seen. Obviously this is JBL's budget range so you can't expect the DSP facilities of the higher end models but even so these Eon 615's have worked perfectly for me over the last few years on a multitude of different applications. I've not used the linking facility with the JBL connect app yet because I've found that the individual sound settings that JBL have included work perfectly well without having to tweak them with the app. Also the sound quality compared to the old Eon's is loads better, in 'music' mode especially, they sound stunning, just be careful not to run them flat out on the input gain and output, as they've set the bass quite heavy, it sounds lovely but a heavy handed Dj could quite easily push them a little too hard.

When this new Eon 615 got released I purchased them straight away and they arrived and I was amazed at how light they were, perfect for when you're lifting equipment day and night.

I've always been a big fan of the JBL Eon series and I've still got 6 of the old Eon 15 G2's running perfectly. Simply have to give them 5 stars because they are certainly fit for purpose and I don't think anyone could be disappointed. I would say its definately worth purchasing the cases as these not only protect the front mesh from getting scratched but also the mixer/amp controls on the back.oh and also you can show off the big orange JBL logo too! The features available are good, we have yet to set up the blutooth eq control (bit of a gimmick) and the preset eq's on the back are not likely to be used either but overall having 2 inputs with seperate controls is fantastic, you can just turn up to a gig with a mic and iPod and daisychain in another 615 and you would be ready to go!

That being said the sound is incredibly lifelike for a PA speaker and I have never heard anything quite like it, you could have these in your living room and watch a movie and they would give a clean, room filling sound. Obviously if you upgraded further and spent more money you would get higher power and better bass response based on the specs availble. In terms of sound, overall I would rate them 8 out of 10 as the Bass response is lacking slightly, especially for a 15" driver, its almost as if the onboard eq is pulling back the bass output to protect the driver, this isnt a problem for us as we have 18" subwoofer's to enhance the bass but we couldn't rely soley on the 615's. Getting them ontop of an extension pole/tripod is easy. They are very easy to handle, you can pick them up with a single hand from any handle comfortably as the handles themselves are chunky and the speaker's weight is so low. They certainly look the part, with their understated but expensive look, dulled down JBL logo and power light on the front.

There is no doubt that these are expensive speakers, especially with the quality of products on offer from the likes of Behringer, but after a couple of outings I am blown away by the HiFi quality sound, light weight and looks.
